Research at Walter Schottky Institute

The institute research spans a wide range of topics in quantum optics and photonic quantum engineering, nanophotonics and nanoelectronics, photocatalysis and renewable energy conversion, semiconductor optoelectronics and integrated photonics technologies. 

A unifying aspect of the research done in WSI is the use of nanofabrication and nanotechnology to unlock the full potential of solid-state materials for applications.
